Workshops

Through our Academic Coaching Workshop, you’ll learn to take a step back, evaluate capability, and then improve your instruction. By doing this, you master how to meaningfully support student progress in an academic setting.

The United States of America is an amalgamation of many cultures, and the American Song as Literature Workshop examines the history of American song and what it reveals about this union. Those who participate will learn how music can be a lens for understanding voice, culture, and history in the classroom.

There are multiple levels of curriculum, and the 5th Curriculum Workshop explores how lifelong learning develops from their interrelation. The workshop focuses on the Intended, Planned, Taught, Tested, and Used (life-long) curricula.

The Student Motivation Workshop explores Wlodkowski’s Motivational Framework for Culturally Responsive Teaching. Participants will learn how motivation develops and how classroom practice can strengthen persistence when learning becomes difficult.

The Building Student Self-Efficacy Workshop teaches self-efficacy as it relates to building student beliefs surrounding their ability to succeed. Those who attend will leave with an understanding of how everyday teaching practices influence that belief.

Programs

ED IDEA

Brush Up Program

The ‘Brush-Up’ customizable educational program provides transitional support through academic coaching, including targeted reviews and guided sessions, college exam preparation, and diagnostic testing to support personalized learning for all ages. It is designed for those who need time and structure to strengthen essential academic skills.

Given that everyone's academic journey is different and that there is no one-size-fits-all approach, participants can choose the modules that matter most to them. Through this program, individuals can re-enter their coursework feeling prepared, thanks to the new academic habits they've learned.

ED IDEA

Coaching Program

The ‘Coaching Program’ has been developed to help participants build self-efficacy through consistent guided support. Throughout this program, enrolled participants will receive highly structured reflection and feedback as they work through real academic challenges. By the end of the course, participants will have increased their confidence in their abilities, developed better decision-making habits, and gained a stronger sense of ownership over their progress.
